Kim, Thank you for another refresher/reminder. Every time I read one of your posts I'm reminded of the Grief Recovery program I attended about 1.5 years ago with you as the facilitator. I almost didn't go to that program, but something/somebody nudged me in that direction (pretty sure I know who). I will say that pain, sadness and difficult memories do return periodically, but today I have those tools that were made available to me in the Grief Recovery program to deal with re-occurrences and life is good.
On the light side, you mentioned "crazy people", one of the songs I listen to frequently while walking is "God is Great, Beer is Good and People are Crazy". As you kno…
Dave, I deeply appreciate your words. It means a lot to know the work I do has helped someone. I know our hearts will ALWAYS hold a space for those we love so much. God truly does know the immense pain we carry, because we have all that love and no where to put it except to lift it in prayer. I am so deeply blessed to have so many who have gone through the program, stay in touch and are now a part of my family. Thank you for your kind words. They touched my heart deeply.
